Oral Implantologist and Aesthetic Dentist

D.T. Furkan Özay, an Oral Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry specialist, focuses on dental implants and smile design. Born in Kayseri, he completed his middle and high school education in Konya, graduating with honors from Konya Hekimoğlu Anatolian High School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, where his thesis focused on ‘Radiotherapy in the Head and Neck Region.’ During his undergraduate studies, he conducted extensive research and observations on implant treatments and surgical procedures for patients who had undergone radiotherapy.

After completing his undergraduate education, he began his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Oral Implantology at Istanbul University. Currently, he is actively working on his doctoral thesis titled ‘Retrospective Analysis of Dental Implants Applied After Sinus Lifting.’ Throughout his Ph.D. studies, he has participated in various national and international congresses. In 2023, he presented his topic “Immediate Implants in the Anterior Region” at a well-attended symposium during the International Team For Implantology Turkey Section meeting.

His professional work primarily focuses on: implant applications, immediate implant applications, immediate temporary tooth production after implant, stitchless implants, computer-guided implants, sinus lifting, bone augmentation procedures with bone graft, Botox, masseter muscle treatment, bruxism treatment, smile design, all-on-four and all-on-six implants, and laminate and E-max applications.

As a clinician, he has been serving patients in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, for years. He also treats private patients in Dubai, holding an equivalency granted by the Dubai Health Authority.

He is married to Orthodontist Ayşegül Ural Özay and is the father of twin boys, Mert & Berk.
